Hey, I'm Shaun

I'm a full stack developer who enjoys building reliable systems that solve real problems. I like to focus on writing code that helps create smooth user experiences.

My interest in tech started early, but I really found myself in this space at Rutgers University, where I'm studying Computer Science. That's when I realized I wanted to build for a living.

I focus on solving real problems, improving systems, and shipping code that makes life easier. I've worked with technologies like Python, Java, Flask, React, Spring Boot.

When I'm not coding, you'll find me on the soccer field taking shots on goal, exploring new food spots around the tri-state area, or spending time with friends and family.

Right now, I'm looking for software engineering roles where I can work on meaningful products, collaborate with talented people, and keep growing as a developer. If you're building something great, I'd love to be part of it.

My Journey

September 2022

Started CS at Rutgers

Began my Computer Science journey at Rutgers University, building my foundation while falling in love with programming and software engineering as a whole.

June 2025

Start of UBS Internship

Began my backend-focused software engineering internship at UBS, working on financial systems and gaining hands-on experience with production-level development.

July 2025

UBS Global Hackathon

Competed in my first-ever hackathon as part of UBS's firm-wide global event. Collaborated on a code quality accelerator tool that automated code remediation and significantly reduced review time.

August 2025

Completed UBS Internship

Successfully completed my internship at UBS, contributing to production level financial systems and building an AI-powered log analysis tool that improved developer efficiency.
